LLMShareAn iPhone app for copying web pages into AI chats

Share any page with your AI, even the ones it can't open

If you've ever pasted a link into ChatGPT or Claude, you've probably been told it can't open the page. LLMShare gets around that. Tap Share in any app, tap LLMShare, and the whole page is copied, ready to paste into the chat you already use.

Coming soon to the App Store. Until then, the beta is free through Apple's TestFlight app.

The problem

Stop copying bits of pages into ChatGPT

Share the whole page instead.

Paste a link into an AI chat and it doesn't look at the page on your phone. It tries to fetch the page itself, and a lot of big websites turn it away. Amazon's robots.txt (the file that tells automated visitors what they may read) asks ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity to keep out of the whole site, and listings on eBay and Vinted tend to fail too.

So you end up taking screenshots, or copying and pasting bits on a small screen. LLMShare reads the page on your phone, the way your browser does, and copies all of it. The AI gets the whole page without having to visit the site.

Two chats compared. Pasting a listing link gets “Sorry, I can't open that page”. Sharing the same page with LLMShare gets a full answer about the camera.

Share, tap, paste

It takes the same number of taps as copying a link.

  1. The iPhone share sheet open on a listing for a vintage film camera, with LLMShare in the row of apps.

    Tap Share

On the page you want to ask about, tap Share, in Safari or any other app.

  2. LLMShare's Copied screen, showing the listing's title and a Done button.

    Tap LLMShare

LLMShare reads the whole page and copies it. You'll see “Copied”, and that's it.

  3. An AI chat with the pasted listing, answering whether the camera has been tested and what damage the seller mentions.

    Paste and ask

Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI chat, and ask what you want to know.

First time? You may need to add LLMShare to your share sheet. Tap Share, swipe to the end of the row of apps, tap More, then Edit, and switch LLMShare on. The app shows you how.

What you can ask

Anything you'd ask if you had time to read the page properly. Some ideas:

  • Is this a fair price for a used one?Second-hand listings
  • Which of these two is better for a small flat?Comparing products
  • What's the catch in these terms?Small print
  • Just give me the recipe.Recipe blogs
  • Is this claim backed up?News and opinion
  • Explain this like I'm new to the subject.Long reads

It all happens on your phone

LLMShare reads and copies the page on your iPhone, and the app collects no data at all. The only place a page goes is wherever you paste it.

Questions

Which AI chats does LLMShare work with?

Any chat you can paste text into, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity. LLMShare copies the page, and you choose where to paste it.

Why can't ChatGPT or Claude open some links?

When you paste a link, the AI tries to fetch the page from its own servers, and many websites turn those visits away. Amazon, for example, asks AI chats to keep out of its whole site. LLMShare reads the page on your phone instead, the same way your browser does.

How do I add LLMShare to my share sheet?

Tap Share in Safari or any other app, swipe to the end of the row of apps and tap More. Tap Edit, then switch LLMShare on. You only need to do this once.

What does LLMShare copy?

The text of the page, tidied up so an AI can read it easily: headings, lists, tables, prices and descriptions, in Markdown (a plain-text format AI chats handle well). Menus, footers and pop-ups are left out. If you select a passage before you share, it copies just that, and very long pages are trimmed, with a note saying so.

How many pages can I share for free?

Your first 5 shares are free. After that, a one-off purchase of £7.99 unlocks unlimited sharing, with no subscription. Prices vary by country, and the App Store shows yours.

Does LLMShare see the pages I share?

No. Pages are read and copied on your iPhone and aren't sent to us or to anyone else. There's no account, and the app collects no data. The privacy policy has the detail.

Only part of the page was copied. What happened?

Some websites only show the whole page when you're signed in. Open the page in Safari, sign in, and share it from there.

I've paid, but the app is asking me to pay again. What do I do?

Open LLMShare, tap “Unlock lifetime access”, then “Restore purchase”, using the Apple Account you bought it with. This works on a new iPhone too.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

Is there an Android version?

No. LLMShare is an iPhone app.

Give it a go

Your first 5 pages are free, with no sign-up.
