This website (rix-digital.com) is operated by Rix Digital Ltd, a company registered in England, based in Bedford, UK ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data is collected when you visit the site and how it is used.
What we collect and why
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. PostHog may record anonymised session replays; all form inputs are masked in recordings.
- Business visitor identification. We use Leadsy, which attempts to identify the company (not the individual) a visit originates from, based on IP address.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Netlify, whose infrastructure logs standard server request data (IP address, user agent) for security and operations.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
- We don't run advertising or ad-tracking pixels on this site.
- We don't collect personal details unless you choose to give them (for example by emailing us or booking a call).
Booking a call
Calls are scheduled through Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects the details you enter (name, email, notes) under its own privacy policy, and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.
If you email Matt@Rix-Digital.com, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any ongoing business relationship.
Legal basis and your rights
We process the data above on the basis of legitimate interest — running, securing and improving a business website. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Contact Matt@Rix-Digital.com to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
